Econ Group have made investment in the Hitachi excavator range of products with stage V engines. They are one of the best performing excavators in the market at present. The purchases have included including ZX85, ZX130, ZX210 and ZX350.
These hydraulic excavators with the full demolition specification are exceptional, giving us complete peace of mind and outstanding performance. We first purchased Hitachi excavators back in 2012 and have never looked back!
The new excavators boost a 9% reduced in fuel consumption compared to previous models. This is really important in the current climate with the ever-increasing cost in fuel. The new improved comfort in the cab with integrated console and seat suspension.
The Hitachi is very strong and hard wearing and, in our view, built to last. It seemed to be the right choice when making the purchasing this year.
"We are delighted to have purchased such excellent products from Hitachi UK and will continue to do so as our operator feedback has been fantastic! We are also very pleased with the service and support given to us by Hitachi aftercare. It’s a hard life for any excavator but you really do push them to their limits in our industry.
I am personally looking forward to a few hours in the operating seat of these machines next month when they arrive on site. I think the dash 7 excavator is next generation stepping ahead of brands in the UK market at the moment “ commented Liam Moore, Senior Operations Manager
“We were impressed with the approach used by you operation team to carry out the works both professional and diligently. Econ were very accommodating to meet our needs from the initial presentations prepared on strategy to mitigate risks and throughout execution of the works and keeping us fully informed and giving us the confidence we needed. The approach of Econ Site supervisors and visiting managers through to operatives on site was always of a high standard and good-natured and we are pleased to give credit where it is due. On site initiatives by the team from demonstrations /videos of emergency procedures when working in asbestos enclosures and working with consistent site uniforms contributed to the site achieving a Kier ‘Blue’ for best practice and working above standards. This was an excellent example of collaborative working and a joint approach to promptly overcome some of the challenges with asbestos and how best to deal with this along with working near challenging neighbours’ properties, the school and the church.”
