In November 2023, ARCA introduced two new accolades to celebrate the achievements of its members. To be nominated for these prestigious awards, companies must have maintained the Platinum Gold Site Audit Award for both 5 and 10 consecutive years. Econ Group is proud to have been awarded the 2024 Gold Award for consistent high performance on site.
This award recognizes those who have consistently maintained high standards of safety and compliance on their work sites. We would like to congratulate all those involved in not only maintaining our standards of safety on site but also for playing your part, which has resulted in Econ Group being awarded this prestigious accolade and recognized throughout the industry.
The criteria for this award are comprehensive:
• Achieving audit grades, A to C in Programmed Audits, with an average of at least a B grade.
• Maintaining this standard for 2 consecutive membership years.
• Having no prohibition notices or prosecutions for asbestos work during the qualifying period.
• For Programmed Audits on "non-live" works, achieving a grade of A or B

In addition to the platinum gold award, we have also been awarded the ‘Gold Training Award’. This award is given only to ARCA members that have met the following criteria:
• Undertaken training with ARCA via Supervisors and Operatives (new, refresher or TNA) courses.
• Had a minimum of 8 delegates on any of the above courses.
• Achieved an average scoring of 92.5% across all delegates trained.
This is a considerable achievement and is testament to all staff that have attained a higher-than-average score in training sessions to achieve this award.
Orpington Maintenance Delivery Unit have been utilising Econ’s Services since the commencement of the new Environmental Services contract in October 2021. Since mobilisation Econ have provided our DU with a very efficient and professional service. The customer service and contract team are very friendly and approachable. I use the services of Econ primarily for Non-Emergency call outs which includes both general litter picking and fly tipping jobs as well as larger and more complex waste issues. Every job that I raise is acknowledged and responded to within a quick timescale. Following the completion of each job, I receive a signed completion certificate including photos and detailed commentary. Similarly the period payment reporting is issued on time with full back up information for ease of reference. This enables us to identify jobs and authorise payment quickly. I can strongly recommend the services of Econ who have improved the levels of service previously experienced and assisted our team with the resolution of a number of more difficult and costly cases on our patch.
