Asbestos Waste Transfer Station

Econ delivers a 24/7 Waste Management Services to companies throughout Kent, London, and Essex. The on-site Asbestos Waste Station is open to other companies who are looking for a location to drop off asbestos waste at our EA licensed facility before it is sent on for safe disposal.

The station is run by WAMITAB qualified managers who work alongside the competent and efficient waste management division.

As well as the transfer station for the receipt of asbestos waste, Econ also offer a van collection service and Asbestos Skip Supply. We will provide waste consignment notes to complete the chain of custody.

All our professional drivers hold required qualifications to collect and transport asbestos waste. Many contractors prefer the option of a collection as permanent parking for waste carrying vehicles or skips is becoming a problem at many sites, especially in city’s centres or towns.

About the station

The station is located just outside of London and Essex off junction 3 of the M25 in Sidcup, Kent DA14 5BA, and provides ideal access from the M20, M25, A2. Opening hours are Monday to Friday; 08:00 – 17:30, Saturday & Sunday; by request.

Should you require services outside of these hours, please get in touch to make a booking, and we will make every effort to ensure we accommodate all your requirements.

Out of hours services will carry additional charges, cost to be agreed at the time of booking.

Our Client is extremely pleased at the way we, supported by Econ, have dealt with the situation. From the moment you confirmed that notifiable asbestos was present, a focused, concerted effort has been made by Econ to deal with the problem. The client was impressed at the speed in which Econ tabled a strategic proposal to the HSE to remove the asbestos, working 24/7 non-stop, to expedite the removal. The fact that the proposal, including approval by the HSE, was achieved in such a short timescale is credit to Econ. The proactive approach, while being flexible and accommodating to allow key ECR staff to work in a safe, isolated contained area, has really impressed the Network Rail team.
