Asbestos Removal & Demolition
Econ were contracted as to carry out the two phases of demolition at Salvatorian College in Harrow.
Econ’s asbestos removal team completed the removal all of the licensable and non-licensable asbestos. The advantage of having dual trained staff enables us to keep to strict programme constraints.
The first phase of demolition, in 2017 included separating the existing building from the school remaining in Phase 1 and the catholic church building. Extreme care had to be taken during this phase.
This enabled Kier to construct the new school. We then returned in 2019 to complete the remainder of the Asbestos removal and demolition. These works had to be carried out in extremely close proximity to the new school building.
Works were full completed in January 2020.
"We found Econ to be talented and professional. We recently employed them to undertake some regeneration work to help us prepare for the building of our new Queen Elizabeth II Centre. Our experience of working with them was excellent. They were conscientious and efficient when working to a tight deadline and we have no hesitation recommending them for other projects."
